TrackRecord - Creating Graphs
I am trying to generate a graph in TrackRecord to display number of defects by a particular root cause.
My initial query goes as below:
Defect --> Defect.Root Cause
However, I am not able to generate a graph based on this query.
I modified the query as:
Defect --> Defect.Root Cause --> Functionality
Now TrackRecord allows me to generate a graph. However, the graph shows number of defects by Functionality and not by the defect root cause.
If I change the order of the query as below:
Defect --> Functionality --> Defect.Root Cause
It doesnt give me an option to generate the graph.
The outline reports based on these queries come out just fine.
I know a work around is to transfer the contents of the outline report to a spreadsheet and generate my own graph.
Am wondering if there is something I am missing while designing my queries in TrackRecord.
Re: TrackRecord - Creating Graphs
Without detailed information on how your templates are set up, we probably can't help much.
Have you tried to call Compuware tech support? They will probably ask you to send them a copy of your trackrecord database and then be able to help you track down the issue.
