Compuware TrackRecord Auto-email question
We are getting ready to go live with Trackrecord. The only issue we have seen to date is this:
We have a query that states if the Project.ProjectLead => <CurrentUser> then we e-mail them stating tehy need to add their developers to the team list.
No problems there.
But everytime we add a new teammember, regardless if they are the ProjectLead, and regardless if we have created a new project, they get the e-mail.
For that matter, new team members (never in the system before) get ALL e-mail auto-notices. Regardless if they are supposed to or not.
We are using 6.1.0
Is this normal? Should they NOT get anything until the conditions are met?
I tried looking at creating a rule, but the rule didn't allow me to go and say that if CurrentUser.Group = "Project Lead" then submit the query.

For what its worth, here is Compuware's solution:
There is a bug in TrackRecord 6.1.0 that is fixed in 6.1.1.
The bug can cause unnecessary e-mails to be sent to certain users.
To workaround the bug, stop the AutoAlert server in the Services, rename the
TRAAReconcile.exe to another name such as oldTRAAReconcile.exe (so it won't
run anymore.) Then delete the "TR_<servername>_<database
name>_StatusFile.dat" file (1 for each database. Then restart the AutoAlert
server in the Services.
