I'm in the process of devloping test case scenarios and other documents related to test our software.
My question: There will be about 10 people using those documents and they will all fill out the EXCEL spreads and enter their information. What is your experience about reviewing this data. Do you use a Database to track issues?
I'd suggest you to read some posts from this forum.. and you'll see that many people use dedicated tools, databases or even Excel spreadsheets. About how to manage them, you can also find many discusions here...
...so enjoy your READING!
... Not even me.
We have more than five people developing Test Designs, Test cases and scenarios. It really is important to be able to keep a track of the issues related with the same. We use "Visual Source Safe" to do the job for us.
That way, we can roll back to whichever version we want, get the history of changes, keep a track of the simultaneous changes by multiple users etc.
