ClearQuest - Problems, Regrets?
We're in the final decision making process in adopting ClearQuest. We're definitely buying Robot, the question is whether we spend the extra money to purchase ClearQuest at the same time. Currently we have NO defect tracking system in place. If we don't buy ClearQuest we'll probably end up using MS Anomaly Tracking System or possibly revive a home-grown system that was created for a previous project. Everything I've read about ClearQuest on the forum has been positive. Does anyone have any buyers remorse? Has ClearQuest lived up to your expectations? If you were starting over, would you still purchase ClearQuest?
Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup

Definitely yes! but I'm working in a large company which can afford it easily. Anyway, now I could find even more reasons to buy it. I discovered ClearQuest can be used for many other processes than defect tracking. In fact, it's a good support tool for any state-based process. I can't talk about similar (including price) tools, but I'm happy with ClearQuest.
About negative aspects, I could mention the number of bugs (product and documentation), but these are not critical.
... Not even me.
