I am in the process of evaluating Cruise Control for automated build management. Do anybody have a fair idea about this tool and integrating this tool with VSS. Please share your experience with me.
Thanks in Advance..
My team and I have used (and still uses) Cruise Control for automated build management.
We used it with SubVersion and Ruby since our project was coded in Ruby.
Using it on VSS will approximately in the same spirit.
First, you need to configure your Cruise Control (CC) with VSS in order to CC to check regularly the new changesets.
Second, you need to configure CC to build and test on his own side (i.e, having his own repository and frameworks to do this).
I think you can google some topics about CC and VSS.
I hope it will be helpful.
