EOleSysError

Hi,

I`m working with the latest TestComplete just to automate clicks in another program and sometimes I get this error:

EOleSysError.Script execution was interrupted

The line is:

w4.VBObject("cmdSave").ClickButton

---> Set w4 = p1.frmCommandSelection (stands over this line!)

Does anyone know how to fix the Problem,
thanks for help

Re: EOleSysError

Hi,

What version of TestComplete are you using (Help | About...)? If it is not the latest one (6.12), please upgrade the tool and check whether the problem persists.

If this doesn't help, please perform the following actions to help us investigate the problem:
<ul type="square">[*] Download a free trial version of AQtime 5, our profiling tool, from our web site and install it. Here's the link:
http://www.automatedqa.com/downloads/aqtime/index.asp[*] Start AQtime.[*] Select the File | New Project From Module... main menu item.[*] In the Open File dialog, select the '&lt;TestComplete&gt;\bin\TestComplete.exe' file and click Open.[*] Take a look at the AQtime toolbar - there is a combo box. Open it and select the Tracing | Exception Trace Profiler item.[*] Right-click somewhere inside the Event View panel (it is open by default at the bottom of AQtime's window) and select the Options... item.[*] In the Options dialog that appears, set the value of the Profiling Time | Event View | General | Exceptions | Depth Shown option to 100.[*] Click the Run toolbar button (green arrow) or press F5 to start the profiling.[*] AQtime will start TestComplete and trace all exceptions that occur in it until it is closed.[*] When the problem appears, close TestComplete.[*] Right-click inside AQtime's Event View panel and select the Save All... item.[*] Save the contents of the panel to an HTML file and send it to us at support@automatedqa.com.
