I'm enhancing some of my scripts, and building a few "helper" applications that I can execute during script execution. One of these helper functions is a console application that takes an integer parameter at startup.
I'm wondering if there is a way to create an enumerated data type in TC? I know TC isn't strongly-typed, so this may be difficult. I'm just wondering if anyone has struck upon a way to accomplish the same thing.
What I'm talking about is something analogous to this C# enumeration (I know it won't be exact):
I'm not sure if I understand what you're getting at. I'm guessing you can create some sort of static object that does the same thing. Define constant properties, or a set of accessor methods without defining the set method (depending on which language you're using)
Thanks Robert! I got pulled into a firefight yesterday and wasn't able to continue experimenting. I'll definitely give this a try. Seems to be just the sort of thing I'm looking for (I'd rather keep a collection of values in one location, rather than potentially have to change them in many places a few months from now).
