multiple windows/one .csvfile
I'm currently recording using test complete vbscript with multiple windows, I've recorded separate subroutines on each window but using one datafile with over 50 columns. Is this the right way?
I've already tried creating one datafile for each subroutine but I find it hard to manage.
Please advise. Thanks.
Re: multiple windows/one .csvfile
It really all how it makes sense to you.
Generally it takes more up front work to make it more manageable on the long term, and vice-versa.
If having multiple files becomes very troublesome, perhaps using somesort of Database might be better. But you'll have to find/write some DB code to fetch the data. But you can use DB tools that can construct different views of your data to better manage it.
