Can you share checked Test Items?
We're still working out the kinks from setting up VSS, so forgive if this is a stupid question. I had one tester set up a test run. I'm not sure on the terminology but basically right-click on the project and identify the elements to be run. He checked a series of tests and ran the suite of tests. After he checked everything in, saved, exited TC and checked in the script.tcScript on the VSS-side. Then the other tester got the latest version from VSS, opened the project in TC, saw all the new tests but the series of tests for the test run are not the same as set up by the first tester. Are these kept locally? or is there something special about saving these test runs?
Is there a list somewhere of all the files that TC uses that describes their purpose. It think this would help me.
Re: Can you share checked Test Items?
Test items are stored in .mds files. I suppose that the corresponding file was not checked in properly. For information on project and project suite files, please see the "Project and Project Suite Files" help topic.
