In my tested application for the moment, I have a db which is not fully loaded at the moment, so when I add a record it goes well with a new db, but not with on a db on which the scripts run before, then I will get a unique constraint error which I would like to close on exist.
So I do (jscript)
But When I run this and the formfoutmelding does not exist, the script stops because the logging sees this as an error !
Is there a way to not log this as an error ?
Re: if exist property not exist and error is logged
Here's the problem. How can you call the Exists property of an object that does not exist? That's essentially what you're running into. You call FormFoutmelding.Exists and, occasionally, that form does not exist. So, you can't call the property of something that does not exist.
I'm not sure how you're assigning your form object but here's what I would do (DelphiScript):
Using the wait child routine will return an empty object with the Exists property set to False if the object does not return in the time out. Please read the help topic on WaitChild, WaitWindow, and other similar routines.
