Q01-How 2 run TC scripts parallel on VirtualServer
I have scenario where I have to run the test scripts in batch run mode.
For this I have created my own architecture in order to run test scripts in batch run (one after the other) and I'm successful in that. But I have one issue while running the scripts in parallel, Let me explain the structure.
Test Application: Developed in .Net and Devx Components (Just mentioning it even though I'm sure this has no role in the problem I'm going to mention).
Virtual Host OS: MS Windows Server 2003 standard edition.
Test complete Version: 5:15
Note: Both application and test complete are installed in Virtual Host OS.
Test execution Structure/Architecture:
1) I have 100 test scripts, which I have split into 2 sets as set A (Contains 50 test scripts) and set B (Contains 50 test scripts).
2) I have to run these sets A and B simultaneously.
3) I have tried to run Set A in Virtual terminal A and Set B in Virtual Terminal B respectively using different Windows User login.
Note: Virtual terminal A and Virtual Terminal B are MS Windows Server 2003 standard edition.
4) Both Virtual terminal A and Virtual Terminal B will be running on Single Host (Physical Desktop).
1 - I'm not able to run test scripts set A and Set B in parallel on Virtual terminal A and Virtual terminal B. But if I run one at time they will complete execution with out any break.
Support for several sessions in Windows Server 2003. Several users can connect to Windows Server 2003 via the Remote Desktop and run TestComplete (or TestExecute), despite the fact that the users are isolated from each other (each user has an individual Remote Desktop session). Earlier versions of TestComplete did not support this and TestComplete 6 is free from this limitation.
