Is there a way to upscale or, preferably, downscale an image to compare images?
Here's my situation, I've got a canvas with points in various positions on that canvas, this is random too. I have a larger viewer and a smaller, but same, viewer in a sidebar.
I want to expand the viewer, snap an image and then compare that image against the smaller image to verify that they are both showing correctly.
Am I able to downscale the larger image for comparison with the smaller image, or would it be easier to find the points on the larger canvas (which I can do by finding the point of a specific pixel) and then interpolating where that hsould appear on the smaller canvas.
Note: Even though the smaller canvas is smaller than the large canvas, they are both the same resolution (large canvas is 216x216 an small canvas is 99x99).
9 out of 10 people I prove wrong agree that I'm right. The other person is my wife.
