I'm trying to set up a custom property using VBScript. I would generally do this using Property Get, Property Set, Property Let. Are these supported in TC? I can't seem to get it going?
Here's why I'm looking to do this:
<font class="small">Code:</font><hr /><pre>
' thisProperty = The property to verify (ie "Text")
' thisControl = the current control, as an object
' expected = the expected value
Function VerifyProperty(thisProperty, thisControl, expected)
thisValue = thisControl.thisProperty '<-- Error here, cannot find thisProperty object
if thisValue <> expected then
Log.error ("Error 1001 - VerifyProperty failed." & vbCrLf & "Property: " & thisProperty & vbCrLf _
& "Control: " & thisControl.FullName & vbCrLf & "Expected Value: " & expected & vbCrLf & "Actual Value: " & thisValue)
What really gets me, though, is that I've used that before plenty of times, only there was a little layoff, so it musta been tucked away into the deep recesses of my mind until you pulled it out with that Evaluate keyword.
