working with dates
I read the JScript - working with dates help topic. But I could not solve my problem.
What I do in testcomplete is to get data from the database and check if it is correctly displayed in the web frontend. Dates are converted by the application. So in the database dates or timestamps are stored like Mon Sep 17 16:03:03 CEST 2007 or 2007-09-17 00:00:00.0. Now I need a method to convert the String that I retrieve via the SQL to the formatted date like dd.mm.yyyy to check if it is correctly displayed in the frontend. Are there any usable functions that I didn't find yet?
Re: working with dates
You can convert string values to .NET DateTime objects and compare these objects. Please see the following MSDN Library article for more information:
You can find information on working with .NET objects from scripts in the "Calling Functions From .NET Assemblies" help topic.
