    Reading a Multi Line TextBox/TextArea

    Hi all,

    I would like to know how I can get TestComplete to read certain text displayed in a vb application's multiline textbox and store the results in a variable for comparison.

    Re: Reading a Multi Line TextBox/TextArea

    Hi sparko,

    You can retrieve the contol's text using its wText property. For example, you can use the following code to assign the text to the MyText variable:

    <font class="small">Code:</font><hr /><pre>
    'VBScript
    MyText = MyEditBox.wText
    </pre><hr />
    Regards,
