A newbie question, as this is my day one of testComplete evaluation.
How can i tell testComplete to popup internet explorer and go to a site?
I have added my website in the tested app, but when i click on record button it doesn't pop up, which it leads me to different problems.
Record doesn't automatically execute applications in TestedApps. TestedApps is actually a scripting object where you can indicate the applications under test and then execute them within script code.
To record, click the record button as you did and then open IE. Navigate to the site you want to test, perform your tests, and then click the stop button. The result will be a recorded script code in whatever language you did that will open IE and execute the navigation you recorded.

I would recommend that you open Internet Explorer manually and browse the needed web page before recording a script. Then, modify the recorded script so that it launches Internet Explorer. To do this, please add a call to the TestedApps.YourAppName.Run method in the beginning of the recorded script. Please note that before launching the script you will need to close the running instance of the browser to avoid warnings in the Log.
