Launch IE got Microsoft JScript runtime error
I am learning TestComplete. The version I am using is 4.0.1321.2
I was running a piece of code which I copied from here. It launches IE and open an URL. I got "TestedApps.iexplore' is null or not an object. Can anybody tell me what is wrong ?
var p, w, page, MyUrl;
// Runs Internet Explorer
TestedApps.iexplore.Run(); ----> Error occured here.
// Gets the "Page" object
p = Sys.Process("iexplore");
w = p.Window("IEFrame", "*").Window("Shell DocObject View", "").Window("Internet Explorer_Server", "");
page = w.Page("*");
// Navigates to the needed web page
MyUrl = "www.automatedqa.com";
Re: Launch IE got Microsoft JScript runtime error
Your project should contain the TestedApps project item. If it does not contain the item, add it using the context menu of the project in the Project Explorer panel. Once the item is added, double-click it to open its editor. Right-click the editor and select "New item". In the "Add Tested Application" dialog, specify the Internet Explorer executable module.
BTW, the latest version of TestComplete 4 is 4.31. If you are a registered user, you should have received the update.
