Setting up an initial testing environment
Now that I decided to buy TestComplete 4 I need to know how to set up a perfect testing environment. Could you please tell me best practices and things to know (e.g. versioning, structure of project suites resp. folder structure, storage, rules to know, are there any other questions or topics?)
I would be pleased to receive many comments from experienced people.
Thank you very much!
Re: Setting up an initial testing environment
Start by introducing source controll (and never mind with Visual Source Safe... that does not work half as wel as Subversion)
Then figure out how you want to structure your tests. Write a manual for whoever wil work on this with or after you... and if you figure out halfway that something should have been done differently, try and change it!
