We have automated build on CruiseControl, using nant.
I've added UI tests on TestComplete to nant build. When I run nant the build runs succesfull, but when CruiseControl starts my build there is an Time out exception.
I think that cruisecontrol service cannot starts UI tools. What should I do?
// Executes the passed command line
RunTC.bat - this file will run as a scheduled Windows task in interactive mode:
<font class="small">Code:</font><hr /><pre>
"D:\Program Files\Automated QA\TestComplete 4\Bin\TestComplete.exe" "D:\TestComplete Projects\Test\Test.pjs" /Run /Exit /SilentMode
Generally speaking, any tool that can execute command lines can run TestComplete tests.
BTW, we have a product called Automated Build Studio that provides continuous integration support for many source control repositories - the tool can start TestComplete tests.
The log files will be in the Logs folder of the project or project suite (depending on what you started).
If you need to get the exported log, use the Log.SaveResultsAs method at the end of your test to have the log exported to the location/format you need.
If this doesn't suit your needs, please clarify your request.
