How to reset test environment
I'm relatively new to TestComplete, got my first web test scripts up and running this week. Now I need a method to initialise the test environment, which will mean:
* reset database (SQL Server)
* possibly delete some temp files
How is this done in TestComplete? I can think of detaching the DB, copy a template MDF and attaching the copy, but that seems very low level. Are there other ways?
Re: How to reset test environment
If your test adds some data to a database or creates new tables, you can delete the added tables and data from script by using either the ADO or BDE plug-in. Please take a look at the "Working With Databases" help topic for details.
To delete a file you can use the Utilities.DeleteFile method.
