As far as I know, virtual objects in WinRunner are images of on-screen controls that cannot be got as separate objects. The tool uses such an image to find such a control and calculate its coordinates (e.g. to click it). TestComplete does not have exactly this feature, but its Regions.Find feature has almost the same functionality. You can save images of any on-screen objects and then find objects within your application's forms by these images. If an object is found, you can get information about the object location relative to the searching area and then click this object.
