TestComplete for WebTesting
I am trying to get a sense whether or not to even consider TestComplete as a viable option for my organizations test automation efforts. We are currently using E-Test suite by Empirix and have had limited success. I am considering Quick Test Pro but the licensing costs are proving to be a painful pill to swallow. Is anyone currently using TestComplete primarily for WebTesting and how would it measure up to the two previously mentioned products.
Thanks in advance.
Re: TestComplete for WebTesting
We have been using TestComplete for about a year now and have had great results. The application has been able to meet all our requirements for our testing. We are using TestComplete v3.11 to test 3 seperate web-based Java applications. The Testcomplete interface is very clean and the results logs are great to work with and customize. One of the best parts for us was the cost. The license fees are a lot lower than most of the other packages we looked at. And the support offered by AutomatedQA is incredible. Most of the time it takes about a day for them to reply to your emails, but the help and advice is usually right on point. I know nothing about the program E-Test that you're using, but I hope this helps you out.
