I have a problem with using Test Execute 3.11 on a remote server, while connecting to it through Microsoft Remote Desktop.
When some test script is executing and is trying to access contorls on Web-page in Explorer's window, script stops and begins to wait for something. Also while waiting, TE outputs the constant message: "Waiting for A". May be it means that by some reason TE can't access some element of the web-page (for example here tag <A>)?
Also I can notice that the same test script executets absolutly all right in Test Complete 3.11, but on my local desktop PC.
Please, help me to solve this problem. Thanks ahead!
Re: Test Execute through the Microsoft Remote Desktop
The message "Waiting for A" indicates that your scripts were created with the Tag Web Tree model. Please make sure that the same tree model is set in TestExecute. The model is specified by the value of the 'Tree model' option in the '[Tools.Web]' section of the TestExecute.ini file.
You can learn more about the tree models used in TestComplete (DOM and Tag) from the 'Testing Web Pages' help topic.
