WAITING INPUT message in TestComplete while testing web interfaces
I have a problem with using TestComplete3 for testing web-iterfaces. Exectly the problem is in accessing input elements of the web-pages: when i write something like
page.INPUT.txtField.Value = "updated";
script cannot access INPUT (it is undefiened) and according to this TestComplete environment shows it's icon with balance and write "WAITING INPUT...". I can notice that object in "page" variable represents Web-Page, shown in web browser, correctly.
Can you suppose why does this problem happen and how is it possible to fight with it?
Thanks ahead for any help.
Re: WAITING INPUT message in TestComplete while testing web interfaces
This may happen if you are using the DOM tree model in TestComplete. Try changing this setting to TAG:
Options | Engine Options... | Web | Tree model
Does this help?
