I noticed the TC command of Storages.Registry will create a new entry in the windows registry when it's not exist. Is this a correct behaviour, Help file does not state this at all [img]images/icons/shocked.gif[/img]
My project requires me to check the window registry keys. So I'm using the related registry functions in TC.
Here is a sample of my code:
</font><blockquote><font size="1" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica">code:</font><hr /><pre style="font-size:x-small; font-family: monospace;"> reg_path = "Software\Me\Name\Age"
Set section = Storages.Registry(reg_path, HKEY_CURRENT_USER)</pre><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica">If there is no such reg_path in the registry in the first place, after running this, this path will be created in the registry!
Is there any suggestion to work around this, my project don't allow me to change the registry content. [img]graemlins/blankface.gif[/img]
