Re: to start an application
TC doesn't have an InvokeApplication command like WR, but you have a couple of ways to do this.
1 - You can add Word or Excel to the list of Tested Applications (File>Tested Applications). You can then make a call to the Testedapps Object, like this: TestedApps.Items(0).Run, where 0 is the index of the app you wish to run.
2 - If you're using VBScript or JScript, you can make a call to the windows shell to launch the app, like this:
set shell = CreateObject("WScript.Shell")
app = """" & application & """"
args = """" & arguments & """"
shell.Run(app & " " & args)
set shell = nothing
3 - Again, if you're using VBScript or JScript, you could just create an instance of the app using COM objects, like this (VBscript used in example):
set wd = CreateObject("Word.Application")
wd.visible = True
Hope this helps,
