Re: unit Testing
Your best first step is to look up unit testing in Test Complete 2ís help file.
The general approach for unit testing is to create an application that acts as a test harness for the units you wish to test. The application should be both a connected and an open application. Connected applications connect to TC2 engine to get needed data, log results, etc. Being open increases the visibility of code in the units under test (UUT). Depending on the degree of visibility you need the testing code can be either inside the UUT or in a companion unit. Whether the language you use supports the concept of friends or conditional defines and your own requirements will influence the exact approach taken.
