Using TestComplete to call REST services.
Has anyone used any libraries on TestComplete with the C# script bindings to perform Rest requests? I want to figure out how to make a rest request with some simple auth information to do a few simple http get and post requests.
Note, I'm not testing rest services with test complete. What I want to do is simply make a few rest services call after every test to report the test results to a central test manager.
I would look into using SoapUI by SmartBear. It's called "SOAP" but also works just as well for testing REST. There is an open source version available along with a pro version with added features and support. SoapUI - The Home of Functional Testing
I wasn't trying to test a REST service. I just want to call a REST service to report test results. This was a native endpoint proof of concept I wanted to test within a virtual machine and have the test results reported back to a central TCM.
