Web Service execution error throwing exception
I am running TC 9.2 to test WCF Web Service. In my method call, when I pass one of the object (called ApplicationInformation), I am getting JScript runtime error,
"The parameter Node is not a child of this Node"
When I test that ApplicationInformation object individually, I don't get any error. But when I pass it to the method, I get above error. The question is, is this error generated from TestComplete (coz the JScript error suggest that)? I mean, TC is unable to make request to the method call and throwing that error before it goes to make the request to the Service.
MORE UPDATES: I tested this same project with TestComplete 9.10 and it worked like a charm. There is something wrong happened to Web Service element in TC 9.2 which gives runtime error stated above.

As far as I know our Support team has replied to your question. Could you please continue the investigation with them?
BTW, you can use the SmartBear Community to ask TestComplete questions.

Hi Tanya. I am still waiting for the reply. In fact I was not even assigned an Issue# which would tell me that my request enters the Support Queue. If you have the answer please post it here.

I am also interested in the solution to this issue.
I had a working Web Services example, upgraded to TC 9.2
and now I am also getting the "The parameter Node is not a child of this Node".
This is holding up a project I have.
I will check the SmartBear forum/ community for and answers to this issue.
I did go back and verify on a different computer with TC9.1
that my code does work.
So, same here, something in TC9.2 has broken web services
to give the error: "The parameter Node is not a child of this Node".
One of the new feature added to TC 9.2 (from TC 9.1) is Tracing Web Service Events (OnWebServiceRequest and OnWebServiceResponse). This may have broken the existing functionality of the tool.
