NativeWebObject.Find is not always 'finding' object using different browsers
I'm using the following code.
(Yes the variable iexplore should be renames to something like myBrowserObj.
pic 3 shows the iexplore object during the failure described below.)
iexplore=Sys.Process(Project.Variables.browserType );// ( browserType can equal "chrome" or "firefox" or "iexplore")
I then check the result with "if(reply.Exists)"
Using the browser Internet Explorer 9 (browserType = "iexplore") I never have a failure finding my objects.
However with Chrome and Firefox the reply object may not exist.
I've tried a delay before the Find to ensure the page is loaded.
I've done the Find twice in a row and sometimes it does find the object I'm looking for.
Stepping through the code sometimes works.
When the Find fails, I have a break point and check the object using "Object Spy". It is always there as described in the 3 find arguments.
The failure is usually with idStr, SELECT. My keyValue that fails is "*ctl00_cph1_ItemBankList*"
In pic 1, I have the application along with the Object Spy showing the object.
In pic 2, I show the code segment along with the Watch List.
Has anyone else seen this issue and maybe have a solution or see my code mistake?
Thanks in advance
