Start IE web browser
I'd like to know if there is a more efficient/reliable way to start the Ie web browser. Right now, this is how i do it.
Every once in a while i get a popup stating that a "shutdown has been scheduled". What in the world would cause that????
'IE Version 8
'Windows Server 2008 R2
If IsNothing(IE) Then
Set IE = CreateObject ("InternetExplorer.Application")
IE.Visible = true
If (CommonSubs.IsSupported(IE,"Wait")) Then
Set IE = WebPageUtilObject.GetCurrentActiveWebPage()
Re: Start IE web browser
This code doesn't seem to be able to schedule a shutdown, so the reason of such behavior should be somewhere else.
IAC, I'd suggest starting Internet Explorer as a Tested Application. To learn about Tested Applications in TestComplete, please refer to the "Managing Tested Applications" help topic and those related.
