Im developing some automated tests using testcomplete, but I just faced a problem.
The tests must run in different machines, with different paths to programs tested. Is there any way to use a config file, and edit it as needed instead of changing every path for every test?
Re: Config file to avoid a hardcoded paths in test.
There's an INI object built in to TestComplete. If you create an INI file with the last section labeled [Root], that INI object can read that file and utilize your configuration settings. I've done this many times in the past. I've even made it a "standard" file that contained settings for different projects.
