I received a system error on Tuesday "An error occurred calling RunRoutineEx of Testcomplete Library - TestComplete already in Playing State". Smartbear discontinued their online chat help, and it's been three days and I still have not heard back from support, so I'm trying here.
I m using TestStand software to call Testcomplete via COM interface. I have been running my tests for few month now without any problems. Nothing was changed, but now it just hangs from time to time.
Would really appreciate if anyone has any ideas / suggestions?
Generally speaking, that error means that, on the machine in question, TestComplete is still running and another test that calls TestComplete cannot be called until the previous TestComplete instance is "killed". I know that this is pretty much a "duh" question, but have you verified this?
