Sorry for the newb question but a search did not yield anything. I was wondering how I just view the VBscript code from a test that I just recorded?
I tried this but it just gave me a blank page to write a script from scratch. I was wondering how a recorded test looks in VBscript code.
"To write scripts, you must add the Script project item to your project. You can do this at the time of the project creation or any time later using TestComplete’s dialogs. For more information, see Adding and Removing Project Items and Their Child Elements."
Question: Did you record a keyword test or did you record a script test? If you recorded a keyword test it doesn't record VBScript code automatically to correspond to it. If it was your intention to record a script test, there's a different button for that. See the attached screenshot.
If you want to take your keyword test and convert it to script, you can do so. Right click anywhere within your keyword test and select "Convert to Script..." from the resulting context menu. Follow the wizard and you should be able to get a script version output of your keyword test.
