I am doing a http load test and have few questions about log results names within TestComplete.Somewhere I have read that response time is TTFB or TTLB and I am not surebecause TestComplete does not mention anything about TTFB and TTLB.
Any ideas about this will be hepful. Is that definition correct ?
Request time = TTFB ?
Response time = TTLB ?
Her I am writing the definitons for Request and response time from the help pages,
Request Time:Time needed to send the request. Number of seconds the user request took to get to the server.
Number of seconds taken by the server to process the request and send data to the user, that is, this value is a sum of the request process time and the data transfer time.
The response time includes the following components:
1-Time needed to receive the response data.
2-Time needed to process the response data (for instance, determine the response content).
Beginning in IIS 6.0, the time-taken field typically includes network time. Before HTTP.sys logs the value in the time-taken field, HTTP.sys usually waits for the client to acknowledge the last response packet send operation or HTTP.sys waits for the client to reset the underlying TCP connection. Therefore, when a large response or large responses are sent to a client over a slow network connection, the value of the time-taken field may be more than expected. "
