Automatically end EXCEL.EXE process at failure? How
I am using TestComplete for automation of my application.
I am creating Excel object to read data from excel sheet and write data back to the same sheet.
I am closing the Excel object at the end of execution. So in case of a successful execution the EXCEL.EXE object will not be available in the Task Manager but if there is a failure then EXCEL.EXE would be available in Task Manager.
If EXCEL.EXE is available in Task Manager then I can not open the excel sheet manually.
Is there any way by which I can direct TestComplete to close/release EXCEL.EXE object before coming out of the execution, in case of failure, so that I can open excel sheet manually without ending EXCEL.EXE process manually from Task Manager?
If there is any other way then please let me know.

If you want see same excel sheet which TC has opened (But not visible visually)then its process should not be terminated, instead try ExcelObject.Visible = true (Or Similar) this should make it visible visually.
