TestComplete project runs but when I use TestExecute, the project fails early on. The project does get launched correctly but appears to fail not recognizing a QT object. We have the QT 4.5 dll's installed for TC but I don't see a place for them in TE. See attached error.
I'm having a similar issue. I have an older application that I need to test which was written in C++. I was originally having issues not being able to find the TextMatrix property on an MSFlexGridWndClass object. I fixed this by recompiling the application code to be "Open" by enabling Run-Time Type Information. This made it work in TestComplete, but not in TestExecute. I'm using version 8.5 of TestComplete and 8.2 of TestExecute. I updated my Qt modules as explained above, but that did not resolve the issue. Are there other modules that need to be installed? Thanks for your help.
First of all, try updating to the latest version of TestExecute (v. 8.50) and check whether the problem persists. Also, MSFlexGrid is an AcitveX control used in Visual Basic application and it is not related to Qt controls, as far as I know.
