in our application we have 5 radio button, (pls find the screen shot of those in the attachment)Based on the input passed for verification method that particular radio button has to be selected.
My script is working only for the "Other" option, and for rest of the options it is throwing "Object not found" error.

This is how the radio buttons are recognised.....

    Re: Radio Button selection

I would suggest, with your TestComplete Project open, go to that page as your normally do. Then open the NameMapping file, right click on the objects and see if they recognize. If they don't, view the properties of the namemapping for those objects and see what properties are being used to map them.

My best guess is this. Since the radio button does not have any text, the text is actually in the next cell over. It's possible the namemapping when you recorded the script was done by value. It's possible the value is changing. It looks like all the options except other contain some sort of phone number. Without seeing the HTML, I cannot say for sure, but that's what it looks like to me.

If this is the case. You should ask the developer to add some sort of ID or Class attribute to those radio buttons so it'll make it easier for you to map the objects.

    Re: Radio Button selection

These are the properties of the namemapping for the radio button objs.(leading zero is variable for the buttons as 1 2 3 ...)
    ObjectType : RadioButton
    idStr : rdbtnProcess0
    ObjectIdentifier: rdbtnProcess0

    HTML code
I have pasted that in the attachment....please have a look at that

    Re: Radio Button selection

Seems like the HTML is ok. It does contain an ID property you can use to map on.

You probably want to use "nativeWebObject.id" property instead since this will use the actual ID from the HTML. But idStr and Id properties will usually default to the same thing unless there's a naming conflict somewhere on the page.
