I was trying out the Flex plugin that comes with TC 7.50. I'm not sure if I'm using it right.
I'm following the instructiosn on the Help file, I added the include into the compiler params for Flex Builder, enabled the "accessible .swf file" option. But it seems to appear the same as if I were using MSAA. I was hoping to be able to access the internal automation IDs and not just the MSAA names.
I'm using Flex Builder 3, but using the Flex 4.0 SDK (targeted Flash Player 10.0)
Please make sure that you added the folder in which the application is located to the "Always trust files in these locations" list (see the "Setting Security Permissions" section of the "Preparing Flex Applications for Testing" ( http://www.automatedqa.com/support/v....aspx?aid=8420 ) help topic for more information). Note that you need to restart all instances of your browser so that the changes are applied. Also, I recommend that you try opening the application from a local folder on your hard drive.
In addition to that, the application must be embedded in a web page so TestComplete can access it via a web browser. Besides that, if the application resides on a local computer, the appropriate security permissions should be granted to it.
