Issues when running load testing
I am trying to run load tests that I have created Visualy and have encountered the following two issues:
1) When I attempt to run the tests using the web site URL I receive SSL Connection failure errors. The errors occur on different requests for different virtual users running the same test. When I use the server IP address I do not receive these connection errors. The problem with using the IP is that it invalidates the test since our users do not get the IP directly from us, only the URL.
2) When I run a test with 5 or fewer virtual users the test runs successfully. When I add one more virtual user I start getting errors, again on different requests for different virtual users running the same test.
The errors are baffling enough but to have them be so inconsistent increases the frustration level. Has anyone else encountered similar issues?
Also, I am interest in knowing if anyone can tell me how to view the script that TC creates when I make a test visually.
Thanks in advance,
Re: Issues when running load testing
When recording HTTP traffic, TestComplete creates an HTTP Task containing all requests and responses, it does not create a script that executes requests one by one.
You can see the task contents by double-clicking its node under "Load Testing | Tasks" in the Project Explorer panel.
As for the problems you are having, let us continue working on them in the M0068097 support case. I will let you know results of our investigations soon.
