Is there a way to check if DoubleClickItem failed?
Folks,(Jared, Allen, etc)
I would like stop my test if the DoubleClickItem method failed. TestComplete puts out a message in the Log, but is there a way for me to look for method failure?
Re: Is there a way to check if DoubleClickItem failed?
You can do this by handling the OnLogError event. Create a handler for it and check the error's text (LogParams.Str). If it contains a message that reports the DoubleClickItem failure, stop your test (by using Runner.Stop, for example).
You can find more information in the following help topics:
<ul type="square">[*] About Events and Event Handling[*] OnLogError Event[/list]
Also, I recommend that you read the "Creating an Event Handler for the OnUnexpectedWindow Event" help topic. It describes an event handler creation process step by step. This topic is about the OnUnexpectedWindow event, however, the steps for OnLogError will be similar.
