I was trying the dotNet keyword to see what was available to me. The only thing I had running with TC7.5 was IE7 and when I typed dotNet. TC7.5 hung up even after I waited more than 30 minutes. Any thoughts?
Try Under [Tools=>Optoins=>Panels=>Code Editor=>Editing] uncheck both Code Completion checkbox then type dotNET. + [CTRL + Space] to bring up the property. see if that works. if not might want to re-install
If you still face the problem, please let me know how often it occurs. Please clarify what .NET frameworks are installed on your machine and which assemblies are added to the list in the projectís CLR Bridge settings group. If you've added some custom assemblies to the list, it would be very helpful if you sent us the .dll files, so we can look into the issue here.
To help us collect more information about the problem, please follow the steps below:
When TestComplete hangs, wait for about five minutes, run WinDbg ("C:\Program Files\Debugging Tools for Windows\windbg.exe") and attach it to the tcHostingProcess.exe process (File | Attach to a Process).
Type the following command in the Command window:
.dump /m "C:\TCDump.dmp"
and press Enter.
Click Go on the WinDbg toolbar (or press F5). Wait for one minute and click Break (or press "Ctrl + Break").
Repeat step 3 to save another dump file with a different name.
Without a delay, repeat steps 4 and 5 two more times.
Send us all of the dump files created in the steps above.
