Issues with buttons not properly defined in produc
Attached is the object browser for some buttons.
As you can see, from "Form("updateStatusForm" is a
series of "Cell(0,0)" then under them the appropriate
It turns out that TC7 will not 'click' on any button.
When I record and playback it willl work because
I manually push the button.
And I get this code snipet.
page.Table("globalTable").Cell(0, 0).Table(0).Cell(0, 0).Table(2).Cell(0, 0).Table(1).Form("updateStatusFrom").Cell(0, 0).Button("expandAllSelected1").Click();
If I run that same code (with page properly defined)
the button won't click.
I think it is because we have defined 'too many'
Re: Issues with buttons not properly defined in produc
The HTML that was written was not properly formed and so TC7 did its best to interpret the badly formed page.
"We" did not see any issues and the buttons worked ok.
Firebug did not report any error either but the Developer
looking at the code realized that a form tag was open inside a table tag. The Developer who had done that does
not work here anymore...or for at least 4 years and we are
still finding issued.
THANK YOU TC7!!! Without even trying you find a bug!!!
