I am testing the new TestComplete 7 Demo-Version on a Wpf-Application.
In my application Toolbar contains a combo box and buttons. I record the click in the
combo box and select the first item. In playback I get the error there was an attempt to perform an action at point (x,y)which is invisible or out of window bounds.
also second error shows "The Object does not exist".
is anyone can help me ?????
fromscratch where & what i need to look for .
What toolbar control are you using?
What is the first error you get in the Test Log and on what line of code does the error occur (double-click the error to navigate to the line)?
Can you post here the entire script recorded with the toolbar?
TestComplete does not record mouse movements, and it does not record hovering the mouse pointer over controls. As a result, such actions are absent from the recorded script making the script fail. You need to click each item of the menu including main items to make your script execute correctly. As an alternative, you can also record low-level procedures (see the "Low-Level Procedures" help topic for more information) or use the OnscreenObject.HoverMouse method (as you are doing currently).
