Name Mapping between machines
I created a test script on my computer at home over the weekend. Worked without issues; I ran it a bunch of times.
I copied the entire Project Suite onto a thumb drive, and brought it into work. Pasted it into my TestComplete folder (in My Documents/etc...).
Opened TC, and tried to open the project via the project file. It gave me a message telling me that my Name Mapping file because "it is not a valid Name Mapping file."
It opens and works without issue on my home computer, which is running the same version (Enterprise 7.10.475). The project does in fact open, but where the Name Mapping would be it reads "Unavailable[Name Mapping]."
I tried a merge, but that didn't work. It again said it was not a valid file. I don't understand how it can be valid at home but not here. It's a rather simple script running against IE. I ran it against IE8 at home, and have IE7 at work, but that can't cause the Name Mapping file to be considered invalid, can it?

This cannot be the cause of the problem.
Try copying your project suite again. If the problem persists, please zip your entire project suite folder and send us the archive via our Contact Support Form.
