Prevent debugger from tracing certain routines
I am looking for a way to prevent the debugger from tracing some of my vbscript subroutines (i.e. I would like certain scripts to be treated like built-in procedures).
What I hope to accomplish, I’ll demonstrate in the following example.
Given the following:
Log.message “I’m here”
When I dubble-click the message “I’m here” in the test log, I would like to be lead back to the line ‘Call no_trace’, NOT back to the line ‘Log.message “I’m here”.
How can I accomplish this in Testcomplete 5?
How about Testcomplete 7?
Re: Prevent debugger from tracing certain routines
There's no way to do this. If you want to be referred to the caller function, you need to post the message there. For example:
<font class="small">Code:</font><hr /><pre>
no_trace = "I'm here"
