Consider the scenario, need to login into the application and logout, for this scenario i have parameterized so that three different users will need to login and logout, but while running the script, i found out that, all the three users had been passed simultaneously to the login post url..
But in my case i want those three users to be logged in separately, how to perform this operation..
You can use the "Start Delay" property described in the "Editing Load Test Properties" help topic or the serial user simulation approach described in the "Concurrent and Serial User Simulation" help topic depending on your specific case. Also, please see the following post: http://www.automatedqa.com/forums/d.cgi?...19600&utag=
In addition to that, we have an appropriate suggestion concerning user think times in our DB, and your request has increased its rating.
Allen, my problem is different from the solution u provided, consider gmail application(for example) - i need to login to gmail application with three different users and logout - so i need to parameterize the users - but when i parameterize, it passes all the three users at a time for login - this is my problem...
i need to pass the parameterize data i.e one user per login, this will follow for 3 iterations....can anyone help me in this regard....
Thank you for clarifying your request. You can create an event handler for OnLoadTestingRequest to parameterize traffic sent to the web server at run time (see the "Modifying Recorded Traffic" help topic for more information). If you need to simulate only a single user at a time, you can use the serial simulation approach described in the "Concurrent and Serial User Simulation" help topic.
