is there a function that can check if a string is nil.
when is use
if not (myString = nil) then
works fine when a string is nil but when a string isn't nil
i got a error
Could not convert variant of type (OleStr) into type (Double)
Please help me.
If Not IsNull(myString) Then
'blah blah blah
You can try using VarType:
<font class="small">Code:</font><hr /><pre>...
if VarType(myString) <> 8 then //...
8 (or varOleStr) is a string, and VarType will return another value if its parameter is equal to nil.
Does this help?
