I am running into a bit of a problem with TestComplete v6 (most recent build 6.52.419.7) Load Testing functionality, and .Net code.
The test is a web based .Net (3.5) interface. When I run the recorded HTTP load test I get an error where it states 1 of 15 requests completed. Within the problem connection I identified that the issue is with a request to the following pages. The first is CheckOut.ashx and the other is Master.css. Once I remove these two requests the load test runs without any issues. Additionally I have added and ensured that the following values were within the ĎUpdate Recorded Values of Hidden Controlsí:
In light of what I have setup, and have tried I canít seem to get past this issue. I have read over every resource that is available to me about this issue and I originally thought it was ViewState related, however now I donít think it is. One resource I reviewed was the one found on the falafel blog, about .net ViewStates (which applies to TC versions below 6.40). I still attempted the recommended process and still Iím experiencing issues. I can supply a copy of the recorded task, and the log files if requested.
Try clearing the browser cache before recording a test and start the recording before opening the browser. If this does not help, please send us your project along with the log of the failed execution via our Support Request form (http://www.automatedqa.com/support/message.asp).
It seems that you look at the 'Default Log' pane of the test log panel. You can find more information in the 'Load Testing Log' pane. To open it, select the corresponding tab at the bottom of the panel. If you have problems with interpreting your results, post here your project along with results or send it to us via the Contact Support form (http://www.automatedqa.com/support/message/).
