In one of our combo boxes, the users are able to select two items that are spelled the same, but one uses all caps, and the other item is lower case.(i.e. dng or DNG). I have a function set up to click on whatever variable value is passed in. In the case where the upper case item DNG is passed in, the lower case dng is always selected because it is first in the combo box item list, and apparently, TestComplete is recognizing the item it finds first regardless of case. I'm not certain, but, thought I'd post.
Here is the code, and for now. I am actually going to work around it by getting all the items first, performing a string compare, which works just fine in JScript, and then grabbing the item number and clicking that. I'd rather not, so thought I'd see if there are any other ideas. Thanks. Mark
